My family and I were lucky enough to meet Chuck while travelling to Alaska on Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas. Chuck is a great entertainer and the Quill and Compass quickly became our favorite hangout on the ship.

Every so often you come across a performer who totally blows you away....I had the pleasure of sailing with Chuck Brown on the Honolulu to Sydney sailing on board The Radiance of the Seas, and I have never seen a crowd so "into" a performer... Chuck totally involves all the crowd and makes them feel like they are a part of his band, down to his "welcome to the pub" routine that had all crew and passengers smiling when they walked in. It is not often that a performer can make everyone smile. It is a mighty fine quality to have. Well Done Chucky :-) & hopefully some of us will be lucky to be entertained by you in the future. Well what can I say about 'one of the GREATEST performers and NICEST guys that I have ever met!' Chuck, it was an absolute PLEASURE to work on the same ship with you and be TRULY ENTERTAINED by you on board the Radiance Of The Seas in THE PUB... We all got so much pleasure from listening to you play your guitar like one of the TRUE GREATS, to hear you sing and HAVE FUN with the guests, and I cannot wait until we can work in the same venue together again, someday somewhere, somehow!!!
